Diarmaid Crean

Diarmaid Crean is a multi-award-winning digital leader with over 30 years’ experience across NHS organisations, national bodies and the private sector. He has held Chief Information and Digital Officer roles in both national and frontline settings, including Public Health England and Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, where he led large-scale programmes such as the Sussex Shared Care Record (Plexus) and COVID vaccination response. Currently fascinated by the design and delivery of Virtual Hospitals, remote monitoring and integrated neighbourhood care, with a focus on using digital capability to improve flow, manage demand and deliver measurable impact on patient outcomes.
