Dik Harbrecht is Head of Enterprise Data Architecture at Shell, where he leads the development of enterprise data architecture, data product standards and data management practices that support Shell’s AI readiness. He has more than 25 years of experience across data architecture, software engineering, analytics and technology leadership in the energy, financial services and consulting sectors. Dik has played a leading role in advancing data mesh and data-as-a-product within Shell, including shaping reusable data products, enterprise standards and simplified data architectures at scale. He is passionate about turning complex architecture concepts into practical approaches that enable autonomous teams while creating trusted, consistent data across large organisations.
