Dominic Tisi

Dominic received his degree in Biochemistry from the University of Sheffield and his PhD in protein crystallography from Birkbeck College, London. During his PhD, Dominic work at GlaxoSmithkline studying the structure and function of small G proteins. Following this, Dominic performed postdoctoral research at Imperial college, London investigating and structurally characterising proteins of the extra-cellular matrix. Dominic joined Astex Pharmaceuticals in 2000 and is a Senior Director in the Discovery Technologies group. Dominic has led numerous Internal and collaborative projects across multiple therapeutic areas deploying X-ray crystallography, Cryo-EM and other biophysical methods on early-stage FBDD projects.
