Dr Ased Ali

Dr Ased Ali is a practising Consultant Urological Surgeon and Senior Medical Director at Convatec, with responsibilities spanning Continence Care, Infusion Care and Global External Innovation. He combines frontline clinical practice with senior medical leadership in the medical technology industry, working across clinical strategy, product development, medical safety, evidence generation and the evaluation of emerging technologies. He also holds a PhD, having previously held academic roles as an NIHR Clinical Lecturer and Wellcome Trust Research Fellow, and has published extensively in surgery. His particular interests include translating innovation into meaningful patient benefit, clinical adoption of new technologies, medical governance, and the integration of devices, digital technologies and data into healthcare.
