Dr David Bevens

My name is Dr. David Bevens and I have worked in learning and development for 17 years. I’m fascinated by behaviour and believe the role of L&D is to create, maintain and celebrate environments in which everyone has ‘room to bloom’. I’ve primarily worked within the hospitality industry but also have experience within the financial sector. I create and deliver ILM qualifications at Level 2, 4 and 5 (leadership and management, coaching and ED&I focused) across Portico and our wider group of companies. I am also qualified to teach and assess mental health qualifications at Level 2 and Level 3. I particularly enjoy supporting teams with profiling and self-awareness activities. As a neurodiverse individual myself, I’m passionate about neurodiversity awareness.
