Dr Elisa Forestan

Dr Elisa Forestan is a workforce intelligence consultant , researcher and learning scientist, who turns labour-market data and learning science into strategy that organisations, employers, and policymakers can act on. She holds a DPhil in Sociology (focusing on Education Policy), from the University of Oxford and an MA in Education & Technology from UCL. As Chief Skills Officer at Abodoo, Elisa leads client-facing skills intelligence work across enterprise, higher education, and government, and is named author of various work, such as Abodoo’s 2026 Green Skills Gap white paper — Europe’s most comprehensive evidence base on the green-skills shortage. She has led or co-authored published deliverables on EU Erasmus+ consortium programmes including RESkill4NetZero, SETU TU RISE, GenAISA, and EduGreen Connect, and has presented workforce and skills strategies directly to EU policymakers in Brussels.
