Dr Gregory Burke, Founder of AccessAble and Group Chief Executive, AccessAble Group Dr Gregory Burke is the founder of AccessAble.co.uk, an organisation dedicated to giving disabled people the information they need to explore the world with confidence. Following a serious neurological illness at 16, Gregory experienced first-hand the barriers that disabled people face. In 2000, he founded AccessAble on the conviction that everyone was entitled to access places with dignity: everyone should have the information they need to decide for themselves where they can go and what they can do. Developed through consultation with more than 1,500 disability groups, AccessAble now provides detailed accessibility information used by around six million people annually. Its work spans tourism, visitor attractions and transport, including projects with VisitEngland, VisitScotland, the National Trust and TUI.
