Dr. Marisa Amato

Dr Marisa Amato leads market development for Singleron Biotechnologies across the UK and Ireland, partnering with researchers in academia and industry to bring single-cell multiomics into drug discovery and translational research. She holds a PhD in Clinical Neuroscience and Molecular Biology. Previously a Health & Life Sciences Consultant, she led Wellcome’s study of the mental health R&D ecosystem and evaluated EU pharmaceutical legislation for the European Commission. Marisa now focuses on how high-resolution single-cell data can power AI Virtual Cell models and accelerate precision medicine. Beyond Singleron, she serves on BeScience STEM’s board, championing diversity and inspiring future scientists.
