Dr. Martijn Kelder

Dr. Martijn Kelder is Chief Strategy Officer at Annogen B.V., an Amsterdam-based biotechnology company developing bespoke cell- and tissue-specific promoters. Annogen’s proprietary SuRE platform uses a barcoded massively parallel reporter assay to identify regulatory elements that drive gene expression in specific cell types, with Annogen promoters being used in clinical-stage therapies. Dr. Kelder holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, where he worked on genome editing, and a master’s degree in cancer genomics from Utrecht University. Before joining Annogen, he served as Commercial Director and was part of the management team at Cergentis. At Annogen, he leads scientific strategy, business development, and partnering across biopharma and agricultural applications.
