Dr. Nicole Mather

Dr Nicole Mather leads IBM’s Life Sciences teams in the UK, deploying deep technical expertise to deliver digital reinvention across experience design, data & AI and cloud technology solutions across innovative pharma, growing SMEs and health data organisations. Nicole is passionate about enabling science to deliver benefit for patients with teams focused on working with clinical staff and scientific researchers. Before IBM, Nicole was the founding Director of the Office for Life Sciences, leading for UK government on the development of the Life Sciences Industrial Strategy. Nicole is a Non-Executive Director of the Wellcome Sanger Centre GRL and the Health Research Authority and holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford.
