Dr. Philippe Noury

Dr Philippe Noury is a Senior Principal Engineer at the DNV Technology Centre in Oslo, with more than 30 years of experience in composite materials and structures. His work bridges theoretical and experimental research, with expertise in damage tolerance, failure investigation, bonded connections, fire safety, and environmental effects. He has played an active role in developing classification rules, international regulations, and industry standards for composite materials. His current work focuses on the verification and qualification of high-performance non-metallic materials for offshore infrastructure, renewable energy, aquaculture, and naval applications.
