Dr. Rüdiger Schulze

Rüdiger Schulze graduated in Biology at Heidelberg University and holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Essen University. He has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and market access in the Pharmaceutical industry where he worked as Business Unit Director for Janssen and Bristol-Myers. In 2013 he was appointed as General Manager for central and Eastern Europe at Shire (now: Takeda). In 2016, he joined Ultragenyx as General Manager Germany and opened this Biotech’s first European operating company. Later he also assumed responsibility for CEE. Rüdiger has successfully launched multiple Orphan Drugs in several European countries.
