Dr. Rupert Holms

Dr Rupert Holms ( Ph.D. molecular biology, Edinburgh, Scotland) is CEO of London-based NewalR&D Ltd which is developing the ezrin peptide immune-therapeutic platform for world markets with a focus on respiratory infection, sex infection and mosquito vector viral infection. Dr Holms has expertise in launching life science start-ups including hVIVO PLC in London and Nearmedic Group, a 120million Euro turnover profitable pharmaceutical company in Moscow, Russia. Dr Holms invented the ezrin peptide platform in 1993 and launched the first ezrin peptide product on the Russian market in 2001. Prior to his 35 year career as an entrepreneur, Dr Holms was a life science investment manager at Lombard Odier.
