Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards

Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards became one of Britain’s most memorable Winter Olympians at Calgary 1988, where he was the first ski jumper to represent Great Britain at the Games. His determination, humour and underdog spirit made him a household name, while his story later inspired the 2016 film Eddie the Eagle. He remains closely connected to skiing today as a qualified ski instructor, guide and regular speaker.
