Edwin Vazquez-Rosa
Case Wester Reserve University
Dr. Edwin Vázquez-Rosa is a neuroscientist at Case Western Reserve University specializing in the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration and the development of innovative neuroprotective therapies. His research has advanced our understanding of how traumatic brain injury (TBI) contributes to Alzheimer’s disease, particularly through the identification of pathological tau acetylation as a key driver of neurodegeneration. His work bridges fundamental neuroscience and translational research, integrating cutting-edge molecular approaches with preclinical models to identify novel therapeutic strategies for TBI and Alzheimer’s disease.
