Elín Sigurveig Sigurðardóttir

Elín is the Head of Visit Iceland and leads the tourism team at Business Iceland while working closely with Iceland’s tourism industry and key stakeholders to strengthen the sector’s competitiveness and create long-term value. Elín brings 25 years of experience in Icelandic tourism, with extensive expertise in leadership, strategy, business development, marketing and sales, and international markets. She has held senior executive positions at Icelandia and Icelandic Mountain Guides and has played an active role in collaboration and development across Iceland’s tourism sector. She has held positions of trust within the Icelandic Travel Industry Association and served on the board of the Iceland Tourism Cluster. With extensive experience promoting Iceland internationally and a strong global network, Elín brings a broad industry perspective and deep knowledge of Icelandic tourism to her role at Visit Iceland
