Emily Barron

Emily Barron is the Head of Finance at Branch, where she manages accounting and FP&A, capital markets and credit risk. She joined Branch from SoFi, where she was Director of Bank and Institutional Capital. Prior to SoFi, Emily worked in foreign exchange and emerging markets sales at Barclays Capital and Nomura Securities. Emily is passionate about microfinance in the developing world, having been a consultant at the UNHCR and UNDP in Syria, and a Fulbright Scholar in Economic Development in Jordan, where she focused on entrepreneurship and microlending in refugee camps.
