Emma Bezuidenhout

Emma Bezuidenhout is Head of Hydrogen at the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC), where she leads the delivery of hydrogen schemes, including the UK’s first low-carbon hydrogen production contracts under Hydrogen Allocation Round 1 (HAR1). Emma works closely with government and industry stakeholders to navigate commercial challenges and shape the contractual frameworks underpinning the UK’s emerging hydrogen market. Prior to her current role, Emma managed nuclear schemes at LCCC, including the Contract for Difference for the Hinkley Point C project. Earlier in her career, she held senior commercial roles at KBR, delivering major international energy projects. She holds a Master’s degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
