Emmanuella Ekadi

Emmanuella Ekadi is a Senior Bioprocessing Scientist at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, specialising in upstream process development for advanced therapies. She focuses on developing scalable bioprocessing solutions that enable the translation of innovative cell and gene therapies from early-stage research to clinical manufacture. With more than eight years of industry experience, Emmanuella has held roles at GSK and Rentschler Biopharma, where she contributed to the development and optimisation of lentiviral vector and adeno-associated viral (AAV) vector production platforms. In her current role, she works on addressing key technical challenges in biomanufacturing, supporting the advancement of robust and scalable manufacturing processes for next-generation therapies.
