Enrique Gil Guevara

Dr. Enrique Gil Guevara is a Maternal–Fetal Medicine specialist and fetal surgeon from Peru, with expertise in fetal diagnosis, fetal therapy, and advanced prenatal ultrasound. He trained at the Fetal Medicine Foundation under Professor Kypros Nicolaides and completed a fellowship in fetal surgery at the Cincinnati Fetal Center. He is the Director of the Instituto Peruano de Medicina y Cirugía Fetal, where he leads clinical, surgical, research, and educational initiatives in maternal–fetal medicine. Dr. Gil Guevara has played a pioneering role in the development of fetal surgery in Peru and Latin America, with particular interests in fetal anomalies, minimally invasive fetal therapy, and prenatal screening. He is actively involved in international education and collaborative research in fetal medicine.
