With a background in science, and a few years working in finance, Etienne has cofounded Rize to use climate finance to serve one of the most pressing environmental challenge: accelerating the adoption of regenerative agriculture. Rize is a platform where farmers can monitor their carbon footprint and enter carbon payment programmes based on carbon certificates. Rize relies on an advanced technological MRV infrastructure to monitor carbon at farm and plot level.
