Eva Popov is a Digital Upskilling Lead at Syngenta. She leads the Digital Growth Academy, a global capability-building program that enables Crop Protection R&D colleagues to develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to use data, digital technologies, and AI in their work. Her focus is the people side of digital transformation: making new ways of working tangible through data literacy, expert learning journeys, real-world application, and targeted engagement. She champions the Crop Protection R&D CODE culture (Curious, Open, Data-centric, and Empowered) creating the mindset and shared practices that allow data and technology investments to translate into faster discovery and innovation. Eva brings more than 16 years of experience across life sciences, R&D, IT, and digital transformation, including leading global cross-functional programs. With a background in chemical engineering, she combines scientific understanding with hands-on experience of agile delivery
