Fabian Kesicki

Dr Fabian Kesicki is Head of Corporate Development at Wien Energie, the largest Austrian regional utility. In this role, he is responsible for developing the corporate strategy, managing innovation activities, and shaping the sustainability strategy. Before taking up his position at Wien Energie in October 2020, he worked for four years at E.ON in Essen, Germany, in Corporate Strategy as Market and Competitor Intelligence Lead. From 2012 to 2016, Dr Kesicki worked as an Energy Analyst at the International Energy Agency in Paris as one of the lead authors of the World Energy Outlook. He received his PhD in Energy Economics from University College London in 2012, his MSc in Business Engineering from University Karlsruhe, Germany, and his MSc in Industrial Engineering from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, France.
