Federico Riccardi Sirtori

Federico Riccardi Sirtori is a pharmaceutical chemist with more than 25 years of experience in LC–MS techniques for the analysis of small molecules and proteins. He joined Merck KGaA in 2017 and currently leads the NBE-DMPK Innovative Bioanalytics function. In this role, he focuses on bioanalytical support for NBE and ADC projects, including ligand-binding assays (LBAs) and hybrid ligand-binding/LC–MS methods. He has authored more than 30 scientific publications. At NBE-DMPK Innovative Bioanalytics, we support the development of innovative biotherapeutics, including ADCs and multidomain proteins. We do this by implementing innovative approaches based on LC–MS, ligand-binding assays, and flow cytometry. One of our key challenges is addressing the intrinsic complexity of these molecules.
