Francesco Leofante

Francesco is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, where he is also Co-Director of the Centre for Explainable AI. His research focuses on AI for decision-making, with particular emphasis on safety and explainability, developing methods to ensure intelligent systems are robust, transparent and aligned with human values. He also serves as an independent expert for Ofgem, where he helps explore how AI and explainable AI can support safer, more transparent decision-making in the energy sector.
