Francesco Tafuri

Full Professor in Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Napoli Federico II. He is author of more than 240 publications and has given more than 100 invited talks at international conferences and research Centers. His scientific interests fall in the field of Superconductivity and Quantum Technologies with a special focus on weak superconductivity and superconducting electronics with significant contributions on the Josephson effect, superconducting qubits, macroscopic quantum phenomena and high critical temperature superconductors. He is leading the Superconducting Quantum Computation Team in Napoli, which has built the first Italian Superconducting Quantum Computer.
