Galina Miasnikova

Galina Miasnikova is a Senior Geophysicist at slb with 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specialising in 3D and 4D seismic data processing. She began her career in offshore seismic acquisition and onboard quality control before transitioning into time and depth processing, contributing to projects across diverse datasets and geological settings. Her expertise lies in multicomponent ocean-bottom node (OBN) data, with recent work focused on 4D seismic processing for reservoir monitoring. She is particularly interested in addressing complex processing challenges and developing practical workflows that produce consistent, repeatable datasets for reliable time-lapse analysis. At G-CON 2026, Galina will share lessons learned from developing a robust 4D processing workflow for the ACG field in the Caspian Sea, highlighting how acquisition and data-related challenges were addressed while maintaining 4D consistency.
