With more than 25 years’ experience applying image-based technologies to mammalian cell line development, George Hutchinson has seen clone selection evolve from growth and productivity measures towards increasingly data-rich decision-making. As part of Solentim’s commercial team, he works with biopharmaceutical scientists to integrate clonality, growth, productivity and product quality information, helping teams make better-informed decisions earlier and select clones with stronger potential for successful downstream development and scale-up.
