Geunil Lee is the founder of Korea Apparel Works (KAW), a Busan-based production platform that gives small and emerging sportswear brands a way into Korean manufacturing, starting from a single sample. KAW is built on a family-run factory with more than 30 years of experience making cut-and-sew knit sportswear — polos, tees, hoodies and performance jerseys — and uses an AI sourcing agent to turn a brand’s first inquiry into a factory-ready production brief. At ISPO 2026, he presents KAW’s approach to making small-batch production accessible to young sportswear brands. His belief is simple: no brand is too small — every order starts with one.
