Gino Hernandez

Gino Hernandez is the Head of the Digital Business for Energy Industries division of ABB. He drives the strategy and investments toward more autonomous operations, including the use of agentic AI. Under his leadership, the team is delivering digital solutions that help customers optimize performance, improve reliability, and stay competitive. Prior to joining ABB in 2020, Gino founded and started two Digital Tech companies, Colexas Digital, a system integrator and engineering services company, and Lavoro Technologies Inc., an energy SaaS company. He also led Rockwell Automation’s Global Oil & Gas business as the Managing Director, as well as managed business units in China and North America. Gino started his career at IBM where he held numerous roles of increasing responsibility in global sales, software and service businesses.
