Giovanna Dossena

Giovanna Dossena is Founding Partner, CEO and Chairman of AVM Gestioni SGR, a Milan-based private equity and venture capital manager she founded in 1995. AVM backs high-growth Italian SMEs, often through buy-and-build aggregations, with a focus on Made in Italy sectors (food, health) and on robotics, AI and digital transformation. Giovanna is Full Professor of Business Economics and Management at the University of Bergamo, previously taught at Bocconi, and served on the board of Brembo from 1992 to 2014.
