H.E. Renat Bekturov

Mr. Renat Bekturov, an accomplished executive and seasoned financial services professional with over 18 years of experience. He is a member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve. Before his appointment as AIFC Governor, he chaired the AIX Board (from 2021 to 2023), acted as the CFO of the Exchange, led projects related to shareholder engagement, defining strategic priorities, and overseeing its creation (from 2017 to 2021). He participated in the formation of the AIFC, and played a critical role in developing the asset management and capital market development areas as a department director (from 2016 to 2017). He worked as the project manager of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Baiterek National Management Holding JSC in 2016 and played an active role in the development of the Program “Competitive Leaders – National Champions”.
