Hafsa Gaher

Hafsa Gaher F.Inst.TT is the Founder and CEO of Halal Travel Network (HTN), a global B2B membership network advancing halal tourism through training, trade engagement, market visibility and destination development. She has worked with over 90 destinations and tourism businesses to understand Muslim traveller expectations, develop relevant products and strengthen their access to international markets. Through HTN, she has led PR and media campaigns, trade events, product launches and roadshows that bring destinations and suppliers in front of travel agents and tour operators across Europe, Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East and North America. Hafsa is a Board Director and Fellow of the Institute of Travel & Tourism. Her leadership was recognised at the 2025 International Women in Travel & Tourism Forum Awards, where she received both Woman Leader in Travel and Tourism and Allyship Hero.
