Helen Greatorex, Head of Format Acquisitions at Banijay Entertainment, has played a central role in shaping the company’s global format strategy, stepping into the role in December 2022 to leads the company’s acquisitions vision, identifying high-potential format to complement Banijay’s burgeoning catalogue of brands. During her time at Banijay, Greatorex has worked across creative and strategic development positions. As Senior Global Development Producer, she collaborated across key territories to strengthen unscripted pipelines and unlock the potential of their IP within the wider footprint. Prior to this, she spent a year as a Format Manager across superbrand titles such as Big Brother, Hunted and Temptation Island. Earlier in her career, she spent six years as Group Acquisitions Manager for Endemol Shine Group, where she built a track-record in identifying unscripted titles with hit potential and negotiating international format deals.
