Huan Japes

Huan runs English UK’s membership team, responsible for all aspects of membership services and administration. He also oversees English UK’s Public Affairs work and manages its external stakeholder relations, including the ongoing Accreditation UK partnership with the British Council. He provides input on English UK’s annual programme of conferences and training sessions covering general and educational management, teaching and learning, and student welfare, and organises the Professional Development Action Group that advises on these areas. He also oversees the Accreditation Consultancy Service (ACS), which supports language centres preparing for Accreditation UK inspections. Huan was well-known in the ELT sector both in the UK and abroad.
