Hussain A Al-Omar

Professor Hussain Al-Omar is a Consultant and Professor of Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmaceutical Policy at King Saud University. Professor Al-Omar received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine at King’s College London, UK, and holds an executive education degree in business strategy and financial performance from the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD), France. Complementing his formal degrees, Professor Al-Omar has undertaken advanced training in health technology assessment (HTA), health economics, HTA processes and methods for health technologies, and quantitative and qualitative research in health economics at leading UK institutions, including the University of Oxford, the University of York, and the National Institute for Health Research.
