Huub van Ballegooy

Van Ballegooy leads a team of international executive producers and format managers supporting the local adaptation and roll-out of the company's unscripted catalogue. With 20 years' experience in television, he helps coordinate production strategy across a portfolio spanning 35-plus labels in 13 countries. His department oversees the international management of major unscripted franchises including The Voice, Love Island, Hell's Kitchen, The Chase and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. Before taking on his current leadership role, van Ballegooy spent several years as an international executive producer. He began his career in production at Talpa, contributing to the development and production of formats including The Voice, I Love My Country and Utopia, which were subsequently acquired by ITV Studios in 2015.
