Iain Ferguson

Iain is a Chartered Civil Engineer and member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has 19 years of experience on projects of varying size and complexity in the UK and Australia. Iain’s role in Transport Scotland is to manage the operating company to ensure the bridges on the M8 Corridor are fit for purpose and safe for use, with a particular focus on the current works at Woodside Viaduct. He is also Transport Scotland’s lead on the prevention of bridge strikes.
