Ian Wall
Head, Molecular Design, GSK
Ian started his computational chemistry career studying for a PhD in Southampton under the supervision of Jon Essex. He then moved to Roche, working on the computational design of drugs for Infectious Diseases. In 2001 he moved to GSK where he has carried out a range of computational design roles in areas including Neuroscience, Fragment-Based Drug Discovery and Epigenetics. He led GSK’s adoption of Free Energy methods and the application of its automated design tool, BRADSHAW.
