Ilke Cochrane

Ilke is a Dutch ex-pat with a passion for needlework. She started out with cross stitch but keeps finding new materials and techniques to try, so her design repertoire now includes Hardanger, goldwork and various types of freestyle embroidery. in the existing bio, please put a semi-colon after “showcase her work” Ilke’s motto – Embroidery comes in so many guises that there is something for everyone. And everyone can do it! I am a great believer in Having A Go – pick up a needle and thread, have a stab at it (pun very much intended) and be amazed by what you can create.
