Dr. Ilya Burkov is the Global Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences at Nebius, where he helps biotech, pharma, and healthcare organisations harness high-performance AI cloud infrastructure to accelerate discovery and innovation. With a PhD in Medicine from the University of Cambridge and hands-on clinical and research experience at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Dr. Burkov brings deep domain expertise to the intersection of medicine and technology. He previously drove cloud adoption and technical innovation at AWS, following leadership roles in multiple healthcare startups. Dr. Burkov is passionate about moving beyond AI hype to deliver practical, high-impact solutions.
