Ivette Fuentes

Ivette Fuentes is Professor of Physics at the University of Southampton, Fellow of the Emmy Network, and Fellow by Special Election of Keble College, Oxford. She earned her PhD at Imperial College London and held research positions at the University of Oxford and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Canada. She was also Visiting Professor of Theoretical Quantum Optics at the University of Vienna. A recipient of an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship and several prestigious UK research awards, her research explores the frontier where quantum theory and Einstein's theory of gravity intersect, seeking new insights into the quantum nature of reality and the foundations of physics.
