Jackson Weech

Jackson Weech is the Director General of The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, bringing more than 35 years of international hospitality leadership spanning hotel operations, financial management, airlift development, and national tourism strategy across The Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the UK. Prior to his appointment in October 2026, he held executive roles including Vice President and General Manager of The Royal Towers at Atlantis Paradise Island, General Manager of SuperClubs Breezes Bahamas, and President of the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA). An alumnus of Shannon College of Hotel Management and Cornell University’s Executive Development Program, Mr. Weech now leads the Ministry’s technical agenda, focusing on sustainable capacity growth, expanded regional connectivity, and ensuring the economic benefits of tourism extend to host communities across all 16 Bahamian island destinations.
