James Gill

James is responsible for leading Finance at GXO UK&I, driving strategies to optimise business performance, whilst promoting transparency, sound governance and an efficient Finance function. A CIMA qualified accountant, James has over 20 years’ experience in Logistics, holding a deep operational understanding of Warehousing, Road Transport, Air and Ocean Freight. James has previously held senior Finance roles at CEVA as European CFO, and DHL Supply Chain as UK&I CFO, before joining GXO in 2024. During recent years, he has been heavily involved in M&A activity, having been part of the Integration Management Office at CEVA, and more recently focusing on the successful integration of Wincanton following its acquisition by GXO.
