Jana Voigt

Dr Jana Voigt is a board-level biotech executive with 20+ years' experience building early-stage life sciences companies from concept to commercialisation. As co-founder and CEO of Infersens, she took the company from a proof-of-concept platform to commercial revenue with an award-winning edgeML water-safety sensor, raising investment and securing a 1,000-device customer partnership with Wave Utilities, which later acquired the company. Earlier, as COO of Camena Bioscience, she co-built the synthetic biology biotech from inception, developing a multi-stakeholder R&D consortium that included a top-10 global pharmaceutical partner on the back of its core platform. Prior to this, she established and led the University of Cambridge's Office for Translational Research, securing £20m in translational grant funding for a portfolio of therapeutics/medtech programmes and led a £10m strategic pharmaceutical alliance.
