Janine Watson

Ms. Watson was appointed Vice-President and General Manager of the General Partner in October 2015. Prior to that date, Ms. Watson was Associate General Counsel – Energy Law, where she led a team which delivered a broad spectrum of transactional, regulatory and compliance services for TC Energy businesses. Ms. Watson also holds the position of Director, LP Management and Pricing with TC Energy. Since joining the company in 1997, Ms. Watson has held a variety of progressively senior roles working with TC Energy’s Mainline, Western Gas (TC Energy’s former gas trading arm) and TC Energy. Prior to joining TC Energy, Ms. Watson practiced law at McCarthy Tetrault’s Calgary office and clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal. Ms. Watson earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Victoria. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.
