Jarrod Walsh

Jarrod is a Director in AstraZeneca’s Hit Discovery department, where he leads the Affinity Screening team responsible for affinity-selection mass spectrometry (ASMS), differential scanning fluorimetry (DSF), DNA-encoded library (DEL) screening, and covalent hit finding. With more than 25 years’ experience in early-stage pharmaceutical discovery, Jarrod has worked extensively across high throughput screening, assay development, and biophysical technologies. His current interests centre on applying biophysical approaches to improve hit identification, strengthen screening strategies, and increase confidence in early drug discovery decision making.
