Jason Watt

Jason is Senior Manager of the Charitable Strategies group at DAFgiving360®. He conducts due diligence reviews for all complex asset contributions to DAFgiving360, ensuring compliance, risk management, and adherence to best practices. Jason also serves as a subject matter expert on charitable tax law and advance planning strategies, providing expertise and guidance on complex charitable giving issues. He brings more than 25 years of combined experience in tax, legal, accounting, and philanthropic consulting. Jason earned a B.A. in Accounting from Augustana University, a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and an MBA from University of St. Thomas. He is a Certified Public Accountant. A charity that’s especially meaningful to Jason is Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota. The organization serves thousands of Minnesotans each year through programs such as youth and family support, senior services, disability services, and housing and financial counseling.
