Jeannie is a seasoned resilience professional, policy advisor, and practitioner with 25 years operational experience, working for public, private and voluntary sector organisations. Her expertise includes organisational resilience, crisis and emergency management, disaster risk management, event management, learning and development facilitation and coaching. She prides herself on her ability to combine strategic level thinking with practical on the ground solutions that support people, communities, and organisations to strengthen their resilience and is a strong advocate of the emergency management and resilience profession. She is currently the Chair and Director of Professional Standards and Learning for The Emergency Planning Society, the professional body for those working within emergency management and resilience.
