Jenny Laird

Jenny Laird, Ph.D., D.Sc. is Vice-President & Global Head, Search & Evaluation at Eli Lilly and Company, based near London, UK. She leads Lilly’s Neuroscience team evaluating, in-licensing or acquiring assets and investing in small companies as well as advancing programs in collaboration with external partners to complement internal R&D efforts. She also serves as a member of Council (trustee) at Royal Holloway, University of London and on private company boards and SABs. Prior to joining Lilly in 2012, Dr. Laird held leadership roles in Neuroscience R&D at AstraZeneca. Dr. Laird received doctorates from University of Bristol UK and University of Alicante, Spain, and served as an honorary Professor of Pharmacology at McGill University, Canada.
